My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and in excellent shape, although they lacked some necessities like slippers and bathrobes. The service was top-notch, especially from the Concierge and check-in staff, even though there were a few language barriers. The location, perched atop a hill with breathtaking views of the ocean, mountains, and Hualien city, was simply stunning. The dining options were diverse and satisfying, despite some acoustical challenges in the dining area. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall convenience of the hotel.

I had a delightful stay at the hotel with its charming old English style rooms facing the city of Hualien. The free in-room internet access was a bonus, but there is room for improvement to cater better to Western tourists. The service was a mix of genuine friendliness with some minor communication challenges. The location atop a hill with breathtaking views was a highlight, but it was a bit far from the town center. The dining experience was fine, though I would have preferred exploring local eateries. The facilities were adequate but could use some enhancements.

The hotel is situated atop a mountain with beautiful views and is near Ocean Park. While the rooms had a cigarette odor and were somewhat moldy, the location offers stunning scenery. The dining experience was great with a fantastic selection of food, but the western dining buffet is overpriced. The service was friendly but had some communication difficulties. Overall, a mixed experience with some highs and lows.

I loved the unique location of this hotel, on a mountaintop facing the sea and offering breathtaking views of Hualien. The rooms were spacious and equipped with all amenities, including free in-room internet access. The service was generally good, except for one staff member who seemed clueless. The hotel boasts great facilities like a large lap pool, a jacuzzi spa, and a fun kiddie pool area. Dining was a bit cold, but the British restaurant had gluten-free options available early in the evening.

Rooms

My room, at the end of a long hallway, was comfortable and had a slight cigarette smell, but the stunning view over the sea made up for it. Great value for money. Free in-room internet was a nice touch.
Service

The hotel's location on a mountaintop offered stunning views of the ocean, mountains, and the city of Hualien. The star watching area and bounce houses were great for families. The pool facilities were excellent, although the kiddie pool area was missing a waterfall as expected. The proximity to Taroko Gorge is a huge plus for sightseeing.
Dining

Dining at the British restaurant was a bit cold, likely due to service issues the previous night. However, gluten-free options were available, and the early dinner time was convenient.
Facilities

The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a large lap pool, a jacuzzi spa, and a unique kiddie pool area. The star watching area and bounce houses added extra charm to the location. However, the absence of a waterfall in the kiddie pool was a letdown.
